The Sun is shining, the turf is fresh, and it’s about 42° in Chicago - BASEBALL IS OFFICIALLY BACK! Chicago celebrated two great 2025 Opening Day Games for the Cubs & The White Sox. One of my absolute favorite things to do during the summer is a day at the ballpark. I won’t tell you if I’m a Cubs fan or a White Sox fan - in all honesty, I’m a Royals Fan! iIget my love of the game from spending many nights watching the boys play at the K.
If you’re looking for fun date ideas, this one should go straight to the very top of your list of 2025 Dates with Heather Riley. My only requirement snacks & matching team outfits. I love couples-cutesie-stuff so I will always insist upon matching outfits as often as I can. (I promise, you’re gonna love it. Just let it happen.)
If you want to take your date night with Heather Riley to the next level - I am currently in the process of checking off the baseball stadiums from my bucket list! I want to see a game at every park. Preferably from the top-tier VIP seats right behind home plate that include a special dining area, and lots of cool perks! As someone who grew up in the nosebleed 500 section, I had no idea baseball stadiums have become so cool. There’s truly no better way to experience a game. And if you’re gonna do something as meaningful as check off a baseball stadium, we might as well do it right the first time!
It is beautiful outside and it is only going to get better as Chicago summer inches closer. Make the the most of this opportunity and enjoy a couple of baseball games with someone who loves helmet nachos, free bobble heads, and firework night.
If you’re looking for a more laid-back baseball experience, I have also enjoyed many game at the local level. I’m just a girl who loves baseball. I could spend all summer hanging out in the bleachers.
